Can you share three reasons with our readers about why you think it’s important to have diversity - particularly with Indian talent - represented in film, television, music and dance? How can that potentially affect our culture? We are very interested in diversity in the entertainment industry. So we’re absolutely thrilled it’s all coming together. It’s what we have dreamed about…it’s what Vikas dreamed about.

We’re absolutely excited and challenged by it. That will be our biggest performance ever as we’ll be bringing all of our high-octane acts into a powerful one- hour show that will be one of its kind. We have big plans for a tour this summer and have a big announcement coming up shortly.

We’re working on a movie that’s made about our life story and along with it we’ve just signed up an multi-year deal in North America to do exclusive events through Desh Vegas. What are some of the most interesting or exciting projects V.Unbeatable is working on now? That was when Unbeatable became V Unbeatable and the group has never looked back since. The group ultimately decided that the best way was to take the bull by the horns and convert our worst fears and sorrow into our strength - to do more fearless, charismatic acts just like Vikas wanted. The group was shattered by the loss and it took us months to recover and one can imagine the pain and doubt it caused every time we had to get back on stage and perform. Then came that day that none of us can ever forget for all our lives - Vikas who was the living breathing spirit of our group met with a tragic accident during rehearsal, that left him paralyzed and ultimately took him away from us. We made a mark of our own wherever we performed, and we were all about pushing ourselves and pushing the envelope for dance as a whole. The first four years of our group was all about establishing our identity. The group made the acrobatic, flair and daredevil style their own and carved a unique identity and turned heads in the same traditional dance circles.Ĭan you tell us the most impactful event that happened to V.Unbeatable since you began your career? So they decided to form their own dance group, putting their own stamp on it, and that’s how Unbeatable was born. In a city where the entertainment circles were famously snobbish, propped by the bright lights of Bollywood, the two teens were shunned in the traditional dance and entertainment circles.

Both of them were in small-time jobs, supporting their families, while also dabbling in some part-time dance groups as their passion. The journey started with Vikas Gupta and Omprakash Chauhan, the co-founders of V.Unbeatable, who started the group in 2013. Even today, many members and their families reside in small studio style homes, with one belief binding us all, that “tomorrow will be better than today!!” And that’s the spirit that Mumbai taught us and thrives on.Ĭan you share a story with us about what brought you to this specific career path? Almost all members of the group have grown together as a family, in the humblest of beginnings. The group is comprised of members 13–28 years old. The entire team resides within 5 blocks in Bhayandar, in the suburbs of Mumbai. The V.Unbeatable team has been together for 7 years. Thank you so much for joining us!
